Recreate Responsibly in Western Montana
Plan Ahead and Play it Safe

As we seek more outdoor spaces and fresh air—two things Western Montana is known for—it's important that we all recreate responsibly, whether playing in local parks, on public lands and trails, in Montana's two national parks, and everywhere in between. Responsible recreation includes: Know before you go. Plan ahead. Play it safe. Explore mindfully. Leave no trace. Minimize campfire impacts. Practice physical distancing. Respect mask requirements. Be part of an inclusive outdoors. Please do your part!

Road Construction
Near Glacier Park

Please note upcoming road construction on U.S. Highway 2 between Hungry Horse and Essex, on Camas Road and on Many Glacier Road. Expect delays. Check for updates and keep this in mind when planning your visit. It's always a good idea to plan some activities outside of the park. Also note: Lodging and vehicle rentals go quickly this time of year; plan ahead and make reservations in advance.
